Prologue
I have said it before. I know that poetry is dead or at least dying. This does not make me afraid. Involvement with the process of poetry is enough; the subjective relevance is enough.
If there is still a common level of experience so that mine becomes yours -- so be it. This has been called elitist. I say unapologetic.
Involvement in the process makes me different than you but brings me closer to you. I am no longer afraid.
